Job Title:
Interned at Maternity & Children Hospital in Buraidah, Saudi Arabia

Course of study at INTI:
Bachelor of Biotechnology (Hons)

I chose INTI because of the campus as everything is easily accessible. The hostels are situated within university premises, so there is no need for long commutes. Since my father is a doctor, i have always been interested in working in a field related to biology.

[showhide type=”alumni1″ more_text=”Read more” less_text=”Hide”]Biotechnology allows one to be innovative and to contribute to the scientific community. My father is my biggest inspiration. I grew up watching him work very hard at his job, while maintaining honesty and integrity. He has always been respected by his seniors and juniors.

At the end of every semester of my 3-year bachelor’s degree, i found it difficult to manage my time and it was very stressful. I often called my mother to be consoled and she motivated as well as encouraged me. My proudest achievements thus far include being able to finish a-levels despite being home schooled with limited guidance, the opportunity to study at inti international university, and lastly, overcoming struggles of being an international student to finish my final year project, with the help of my lecturers.

Successful leaders are punctual, honest and confident. I believe that students should respect their superiors. My advice to them would be to always listen, and to try your best to understand the work. It is best to learn as much as you can, and to never take any skills for granted because opportunities may come in the future where said skills could be utilised.[/showhide]

Job Title:
Ip Associate, Adipven (M) Sdn Bhd

Course of study at INTI:
Bachelor of Biotechnology (Hons)

I chose INTI International University because of its quiet and calm surroundings, as it is conducive to studying. Apart from that, the facilities provided, especially the shuttle busses are by far, the best I’ve ever had throughout my student life.

[showhide type=”alumni2″ more_text=”Read more” less_text=”Hide”]The hostels are neat and complete, while all the lecturers are really encouraging and helpful. The events organised by INTI students provided me with opportunities to socialise, the library was filled with reference books and comfortable facilities.

There were many times where I felt like I had failed myself and everyone else. But I kept going because my mom always stressed on the importance of finishing what you started, and yoga helped too. Now, I find joy in accepting the challenges that come with my current job, especially because it differs from what I studied. A good leader to me is someone firm, organised and openly accepts opinions other than their own. My advice to students would be to always be open to learning new things, to not take people for granted, and to be professional by not mixing personal matters with work.[/showhide]
