The Diploma in Accounting is a two-year programme designed to provide students with a solid foundation in accounting, finance, business, and related disciplines. The programme equips students with the knowledge and practical skills required for entry-level roles in the accounting and business environment, while also preparing them for further studies and professional qualifications.
Students will be exposed to areas such as financial accounting, management accounting, auditing, taxation, business operations, and digital applications relevant to the accounting profession. The programme also emphasises communication, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and the application of accounting knowledge in real business contexts.
With a balance of academic learning and practical exposure, graduates of this programme will be prepared to pursue opportunities in accounting, finance, banking, administration, and related business fields, or to continue their studies at higher levels.
- Students may transfer credits into the second year of selected degree programmes (Accounting, Finance, and Business pathways) at reputable universities in the UK and Australia, subject to credit mapping.
- Students will be exposed to career opportunities in the accounting field through field trips, employer projects and guest lectures.

English Language Requirements
Achieve a minimum of Band 3 in MUET or equivalent to CEFR (Mid B1).
Students who do not meet this requirement are required to take an English proficiency course to ensure their proficiency is sufficient to meet the needs of the programme.
#Note:
(i) Students without credit in Mathematics and pass in English at SPM level are required to take and pass the enhancement Mathematics and/or English subject that is equivalent to SPM. This enhancement subject must be taken in the first semester or before enrolment with conditional offer.
(ii) Credit in Mathematics and pass in English at SPM or equivalent level can be exempted should any other higher qualifications contain Mathematics and English subjects with an equivalent/higher achievement.
