INTI Increases Access to Education for the Public

March 8, 2021

Understanding the economic struggles of many households today as a result of the pandemic, INTI International University & Colleges (INTI) are creating more accessible educational opportunities for anyone looking to pursue their tertiary education.

Dr Joseph Lee believes it is beneficial to invest earlier into tertiary education, especially in the midst of a pandemic.

Dr Joseph Lee, Vice Chancellor of INTI International University, shares that INTI understands the economic toll this pandemic has taken on many, hence the institution is offering a wide range of affordable learning pathways available for everyone including high school leavers, diploma graduates and working adults, to ease the financial burden for breadwinners while still being able to pursue a world-class education.

“We are offering a variety of 2 for 1 packages that include free foundations, diploma and masters programme upon enrolments into our degree programmes. This initiative is to help increase the public’s accessibility to private education here in Malaysia, particularly during these dire times.

“It is our commitment to doing what we can for the public,” he said.

Amidst the uncertainties and physical restrictions brought about by the looming pandemic, Dr Joseph shares that he understands why many parents and families have decided to place their children’s tertiary education on hold for the time being. However, while he empathises with parents, he also opines that it is necessary now more than ever to invest into tertiary education.

“Earlier investments will increase earlier opportunities for job security and livelihoods in the longer term. This will benefit both the breadwinners and provide a more secure future for those looking to pursue their education too,” said Dr Joseph.

He continued, “Similarly to how we, at INTI, will not let a pandemic stop us from giving people the best for their future, I believe those keen on pursuing their education should not allow the pandemic to put their education dream on hold too.”
