INTI International University Rises 103 Places to 406 Globally in QS World University Rankings 2027

INTI International University has risen 103 places to rank 406 globally in the QS World University Rankings 2027, marking its strongest position in the ranking to date. The latest results also place the University among the top 10 Malaysian institutions in the same ranking.

Released by global higher education analyst QS Quacquarelli Symonds, the QS World University Rankings evaluates universities across areas including reputation, research impact, internationalisation, learning experience, employability outcomes, and sustainability. INTI’s latest performance was supported by its international profile, learning environment, and continued recognition among employers.


INTI International University has risen 103 places to rank 406th globally in the QS World University Rankings 2027, placing the University among the top 10 Malaysian institutions in this year’s rankings .

Professor Dr Joseph Lee, Vice Chancellor of INTI International University, said the ranking is an important milestone for the University and the wider INTI community.

“This recognition is a significant achievement for the INTI community and a strong testament to the dedication, passion, and hard work of our academic and professional staff, students, alumni, industry partners, and all who have contributed to INTI’s growth,” said Professor Dr Joseph.

“As we celebrate 40 years of excellence, this latest ranking is especially meaningful. It shows that our efforts to strengthen academic quality, research, internationalisation, industry engagement, sustainability, and student outcomes are making a difference, not only in Malaysia but also on the global stage,” he added.
The result also places INTI’s progress within a broader global conversation on how universities are responding to the needs of students, employers, and society.
