INTI Subang in Action: A Festive and Thriving Campus Life

April 24, 2025

Have you ever wondered what being a student at INTI International College Subang (IICS) is like? You might have heard that life here is vibrant and energetic, and this past week proved it. If there was ever a time to witness the buzz, this was it.

The third week of April delivered one of the most happening stretches on campus, filled with student and staff-led activities that turned INTI Subang into a hub of colour, sound, and celebration. Three major events — INTIMA Week, the IT Fair, and IICS Superstar Raya Letops — happened back-to-back, each bringing flavour to an already lively atmosphere.

The Center of American Education (CAE) faculty marked Hari Raya with festive decorations and a performance to welcome visitors as part of their open house.

INTIMA Week, a long-standing tradition at INTI, is more than just an event — it’s a platform for the INTIMA student body to showcase creativity, leadership, and passion for campus life. Now in its 49th cycle, this year’s edition didn’t disappoint. The energy was palpable as students lit up the campus with their enthusiasm.

Booths lined the IICS driveway, run by student clubs, departments, and service units. Live busking, cosplay, and mini-games drew crowds throughout the day, while food trucks from popular names like Krispy Kreme and Roti Boy kept the energy going. There was simply too much to experience in just one visit.

Meanwhile, the IT Fair brought students to the IICS Student Hub for a different kind of excitement — exclusive tech deals and hands-on activities. Big brands like Samsung, Dell, and Sony showed up with unbeatable offers on tablets, mobile phones, headphones, and more — all at special prices, available only to INTI students. The mix of industry presence and student interest created a practical and exciting space.

INTIMA Week brought together student clubs and campus departments — including Career Services, CDU, and the Volleyball Club — along the IICS driveway for various activities and showcases.

“These types of events are the backbone of our campus life. It’s a moment in which we celebrate our existence and the things we love,” said Reanna Kasha Jacob, a Mass Communications student from the University of Hertfordshire programme and the Organising Chair for INTIMA Week.

As the week continued, the IICS Hari Raya Celebration Committee rolled out the highly anticipated IICS Superstar Raya Letops. The name alone promised a good time, and it delivered. Themed around ziarah-menziarah (tradition of visiting), departments and faculties opened their doors to welcome visitors in true open house fashion.

At the IT Fair, students had the chance to try out Sony products, including headphones and digital cameras, with exclusive offers available during the event.

Classic games like Radio Rosak and Musang Berjanggut offered a dose of nostalgia, especially for those experiencing them for the first time. Online elements, including Hari Raya riddles and a TikTok contest, brought a modern touch to the celebrations. Over at the Tan Yew Sing Auditorium, faculty and staff turned up in creative, colourful outfits, adding more life to the festivities.

Dr. Chong Kok Wai, Chief Executive Officer of INTI International University & Colleges, praised the IICS community as “gung-ho” — always eager and spirited in celebrating festive occasions.

INTI Subang demonstrates that campus life here is anything but ordinary. It’s not just about working and learning, it’s about being part of something bigger — a place where creativity thrives and the community comes together to make things happen
