An achievement ceremony was held recently at the College to recognize the achievements of MBA graduates. It was an eloquent testimony to the unwavering spirit of perseverance and belief of the students and faculty that excellence is achievable.

The guest of honour, Dr. Jun Xu from Southern Cross University’s Business School in Australia, presented the certificates for the Graduate Certificate of Business Administration, Graduate Diploma of Business Administration followed by the Master of Business Administration.
Commending the graduates on their achievement in acquiring the relevant knowledge and skills to prepare for today’s global economy, Dr. Jun Xu emphasized that in an age of technological and service innovation “organizations place a premium on individuals who have the relevant knowledge and skills to thrive in a global and competitive environment.”
Dr. William Wong, Chief Executive/Principal of INTI College Sarawak, highlighted that during the course of their studies, “the students had experienced a transformation by attaining intellectual maturity and a positive attitude which would facilitate the opening of the doors to global opportunities.”
The collaboration between INTI College Sarawak and Southern Cross University has blossomed over the years with many MBA graduates contributing positively to the vibrant economic landscape of Malaysia as well as distant shores. Hobsons’ The Good Universities Guide to MBA and Management Courses 2011 has awarded Southern Cross University’s MBA and Management courses a maximum of five stars for Getting a Job and four stars for Graduate Salary.
Many initiatives are in place to help INTI’s MBA and business students build up competencies and learn new skills. These include Enrolment to Employment (E2E) – a synergy with blue-chip companies including IBM, Deloitte, Digi and Ricoh, among others, aimed at increasing the employability of every INTI graduate.
A unique component of E2E is the Business Leadership Series, which has seen corporate leaders such as Google Malaysia’s Sajith Sivanandan, Dell’s Bobbi Dangerfield, Microsoft Malaysia’s Ananth Lazarus, IBM’s Ramanathan Sathiamutty and many others speaking to INTI College Sarawak students via live stream on the latest trends and developments in business and career opportunities on a global scale. The opportunity to be inspired by accomplished thought leaders on a regular basis is a privilege accorded to few students outside of INTI.
