I chose INTI for a few reasons. I had previously completed my A-Levels at INTI International College Subang, and liked it there. I met a few lecturers from the Law programme who were great people, and that convinced me to further my studies at INTI International University.

[showhide type=”alumni1″ more_text=”Read more” less_text=”Hide”]It helped that I was on a full scholarship for my entire degree. INTI International University also provides a great Law programme that is affiliated with many respectable universities in England. I also chose INTI for its amenities, mainly its swimming pool, and sports facilities. INTI International University has always been supportive of me, and my pursuit of extra-curricular activities like sports. They allowed me to have a flexible timetable and exam schedule.

Since high school, I’ve always dreamed of being a lawyer. It was only a matter of where to complete my studies, and INTI International University was my choice. If asked, it’d be a choice I’d gladly repeat, but like all students, there were times where I struggled. I was in the Malaysian Water Polo team during my second year, and was selected to participate in the 2017 SEA Games.

I cannot name just one person who inspired me, for there are many who have left huge impacts on my professional life. The lecturers in INTI taught me to love law and its beauty. The two main traits that students should have in order to succeed in the working world is a good attitude and basic skills. Having a good attitude and personality are keys to being successful because employers love individuals who are driven, willing to learn, adapt fast, and have great social skills. No matter what job you may end up in, a teachable employer is one that ascends the ladder the quickest. It’s also important to learn basic skills like time management, being economically responsible, and multi-tasking to avoid being a new graduate with no personal responsibility, as they are the hardest to employ.[/showhide]

As a pure science student, taking a law degree was a big and scary leap for me. Hence, I am eternally thankful to have chosen INTI as my platform as the lecturers in INTI took the initiative to ensure that everyone in class could cope with the syllabus without even the slightest hitch.

[showhide type=”alumni2″ more_text=”Read more” less_text=”Hide”]Although reading the law might sound like a long and tough task, I was more than happy to find out that with relatively small and focused classes here in INTI, the lecturers were able to pay attention to all the students and to plan classes according to our pace. Furthermore, with passionate lecturers and various events planned by them, learning became enjoyable and something we all look forward to. If anyone were to ask me to recommend an institution to read the law, it would, without doubt, be INTI. INTI Law Faculty is not only a department, it is a home to us law graduates, whom would all stand by the fact that it is the best.[/showhide]

My experience reading law at INTI International University (INTI) has been a fruitful and rewarding one. The team of lecturers that I was fortunate enough to be taught by is dedicated in fulfilling their duties in bringing out the outmost potential in their students.

[showhide type=”alumni3″ more_text=”Read more” less_text=”Hide”]The lecturers have never shunned from answering any queries that students have. Besides, they are always there to provide moral and emotional support to students which I believe helped me immensely during the 2 years that I was there. They were the ones who steer me through tough times, providing the support that I need, that has instilled much confidence in me to move forward with no qualms. I fervently believe that this has further helped me in coping with the pressure and workloads that I faced when I was in the UK. As a current Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC) student in the UK, I realised that a law student requires practical skills to complement the theoretical knowledge that is acquired in classrooms. INTI provides the platform for students to hone their practical skills as moot competitions and debate competitions are held by the law school. I was a participant of the internal moot competition in INTI which I believe, has improved my presentation skills significantly. Not only that, the support system in INTI for law students doing the transfer programme is commendable. We were given all the help and information needed in our application to UCAS and also to partner universities by INTI which greatly reduces the stress and worries of applying to UK universities.[/showhide]

At INTI, I had excellent lecturers who not only taught law, but also nurtured, advised and challenged me to do the best that I could. In addition, there were many opportunities to develop leadership skills, network, and meet friends from various parts of the world. All in all, I feel that INTI played a very significant role in shaping my identity and my career path.

The lecturers at INTI helped to sharpen my abilities to excel in law. I was pleasantly surprised at the standard of teaching and their tirelessness at making sure that the students do their best. I could not, not even for a day, forget what I was working for because my lecturers would not let me lose focus.
