YB Hannah Yeoh Joins INTI in Honouring Industry Partners at Appreciation Dinner 2025

INTI International University & Colleges welcomed the Minister of Youth and Sports Malaysia, YB Hannah Yeoh, to its annual Industry Partners Appreciation Dinner 2025 (IPAD), held on 19 November at EQ Kuala Lumpur. The dinner drew 350 participants and brought together collaborators from across Malaysia to acknowledge their contributions to student learning and workforce readiness.

INTI’s senior representatives also attended the event: Dr Chong Kok Wai, Chief Executive Officer; Melinda Yang, Shareholder Representative; Datuk Tan Yew Sing, Founder; Emeritus Professor Dato’ Dr Mohamad Zawawi Ismail, Pro-Chancellor; Dr Jane Lim, Chief Executive of INTI International College Subang; and Naomi Yang, Assistant Vice President of Career Services.

IPAD serves as a platform to recognise organisations that contribute to students’ training, exposure, and professional pathways. It also offers partners the opportunity to reconnect with INTI’s academic teams and explore potential collaborations.

In her remarks, YB Hannah Yeoh encouraged partners to continue supporting the next generation: “I encourage all the industry partners here tonight to spend time with young graduates and impart values, as your conviction is important as you shape the future of Malaysia.”

Echoing her message, INTI CEO Dr Chong Kok Wai highlighted the importance of practical learning: “Moving forward, we will continue engaging industry partners to strengthen the practical components of all programmes. Real experience plays a significant role in shaping readiness.”

These awards reflected INTI’s appreciation for organisations that support students through internships, industry projects, curriculum input, and training initiatives. Through IPAD and its broader academic efforts, INTI continues to strengthen engagement across multiple sectors and expand opportunities for students preparing to enter the workforce.

To support future talent needs, INTI also announced the introduction of five new academic programmes beginning in 2026: the Master of Science in Information Systems (Research), Master of Science in Engineering and Eco-Innovation (Research), Bachelor of Education in Teaching Chinese as a Second Language, Bachelor in Sports Management, and Bachelor in Music Production and Audio Technology. These programmes reflect INTI’s commitment to aligning its academic offerings with Malaysia’s evolving talent landscape.
