Students from INTI International College Subang’s Centre of Art and Design (ICAD) can look forward to selling their creative work following a collaboration between INTI and ARC Global Artists Sdn. Bhd.

The agreement was signed by Dr. Jane Lim, Chief Executive of INTI International College Subang, and Jeff Fan Shen Yee, the director of ARC Global Artists Sdn. Bhd., in a ceremony on 28 March. ARC Global Artists is an award-winning company that provides royalty-free illustrations, images, and audio produced by local genuine creators.

Under the agreement, final-year ICAD students have access to an immersive platform where they can sell their digital art creations and intellectual property to earn some money while studying.

“We are humbled that under this partnership, students from INTI’s Centre of Art and Design (ICAD) will be given a free one-year subscription to ARC’s digital art platform, STIVE, which will encourage entrepreneurship among our art and design students and help them monetize their skills and creations,” shared Dr. Jane Lim who is also Vice President of Campus Academic Operations.

Dr. Jane also acknowledged that these platforms would benefit Art and Design students specializing in areas such as graphic design, fashion, digital media design, and immersive design as the product of their skills can be displayed and marketed.

“Entrepreneurial education is important to students as it teaches them how to recognize commercial opportunities, boosts their self-esteem and knowledge, and gives them the skills to act on opportunities,” she said, adding that this digital platform would bring forward the creative products of students and help kickstart their careers.

Jeff Fan Shen Yee, Director of ARC Global Artists Sdn. Bhd., said despite the fast increase in AI-generated content, Stive Asia is committed to being the best platform for creators to monetize human art.

“We strongly believe that AI-generated content cannot replace the creativity and emotional depth that comes from humans. Instead, it should be viewed as a tool that can complement and enhance human creativity, enabling artists and designers to explore new possibilities and push the boundaries of their art even further,” said Jeff Fan who co-founded the company in 2021.

INTI places great importance on developing tomorrow’s leaders and producing employable graduates who are work ready. Through partnerships and collaborations with over 600 industry partners, students can gain the knowledge, skills, and experiences required by today’s employers.
