Terms & Conditions for INTI’s “#INTIFirst” Contest

  1. The “#INTIFirst” contest (‘the Contest’) is organized by INTI Universal Holdings Sdn. Bhd. Company No. 199301011991 (266729-P)] [“the Organizer”] and is open to Malaysian residents with a valid MyKad and residential address in Malaysia, aged 16 years old and above as of 1st January 2020 (each a “Participant” and collectively the “Participants”).
  2. The following group of persons shall not be eligible to participate in this Contest:
    • Employees of the Organizer [including its affiliated and related companies] and their immediate family members [children, parents, brothers and sisters, including spouses]; and/or
    • Representatives, employees, servants and/or agents of advertising and/or promotion service providers of the Organizer [including its affiliated and related companies], and their immediate family members [children, parents, brothers and sisters, including spouses].
  3. The Organizer shall reserve the right to exclude and/or disqualify Participants who do not fall within the category of Participants and/or who are in breach of the contest terms and conditions.

Duration

  1. There will be ONE (1) Contest starting from 1st March 2020 until 30th April 2020 (“Contest Period”). Any participation after the expiry of the Contest Period shall be disqualified. The Organizer reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions without prior notice to ensure the smooth running of this Contest.

INTI “#INTIFirst” Contest Mechanics

  1. The qualifying criteria for each entry to the contest will be a visit to any of INTI’s campuses or INTI Education Counselling Centres’ across Malaysia within the start of the campaign period
  2. Participant’s are required to go through a counselling session with our counsellors from the INTI’s campuses or INTI Education Counselling Centres’ .
  3. INTI’s campuses and INTI Education Counselling Centres’ as listed below:
    1. INTI International University, Nilai
    2. INTI College Nilai
    3. INTI International College Subang
    4. INTI International College Kuala Lumpur
    5. INTI International College Penang
    6. INTI College Sabah
    7. INTI Education Counselling Centres
      • Johor Bahru
      • Ipoh
      • Muar & Batu Pahat
      • Kuantan
      • Kedah

Winner’s Criteria

  1. Each entry shall be limited to ONE visit (aged 16 and above).
  2. The 100th, 500th, 1000th and 3000th visitor to the INTI campus or INTI Education Counselling Centres’ are as follows:
    • 100th visit being the 4th Prize Winner
    • 500th visit being the 3rd Prize Winner
    • 1000th visit being the 2nd Prize Winner
    • 3000th visit being the Grand Prize Winner
  3. In the event of multiple visits made to the INTI Campuses and INTI Education Counseling Centres’, only the FIRST visit will be counted as the official visit.

Recipient(s)’ Announcement

  1. Announcement of winners will be made through a phone call to the chosen winner(s) at the end of the contest period.
  2. Chosen winners of the contest will receive a phone call to provide the following details:
    • Full name as per NRIC
    • NRIC number
    • Contact number
    • Email address
    • Mailing address

Contest Prizes

  1. The INTI’s “#INTIFirst” Contest Prizes will have four (4) winners. The winners may receive the following Prizes:
    • 4th prize winner will receive two (2) Apple AirPod Pro
    • 3rd prize winner will receive two (2) Apple Watch Series 5 – Space Gray
    • 2nd prize winner will receive two (2) Dyson AirWrap
    • 1st prize winner will receive two (2) Samsung S20 Ultra
  2. The Organizer will not be held liable in the event the winner(s) cannot be contacted for whatever reasons after at least three (3) attempts by the Organizer or its agents to contact the winner(s).
  3. Products will be sent latest three (3) months after the end of the Contest to the respective recipient(s) according to the address that has been provided.
  4. The Organizer reserves the right at sole discretion to substitute any of the prizes with a similar value, at any time without prior notice. The values of the prizes are correct at the time of printing. All contest prizes are given on an “as is” basis and all contest prizes are not exchangeable for cash, credit, other items or voucher, in part or in full. All winner must abide by the terms and conditions of the parties arranging and/or providing for the contest prizes and the terms and conditions attached to the contest prizes, if any.

Liability & Responsibility

  1. Participants shall assume full liability and responsibility in case of any liability, mishap, injury, damage, claim or accidents (including death) resulting from their participation in this contest, redemption and/or utilisation of the prizes.
  2. All transportation, accommodation, personal costs and/or any other costs, fees and/or other expenses that are incurred to participate in this Contest and to redeem the Prize is the sole responsibility of the Participants.

Rights of the Organizer

  1. By submitting your entries for this Contest, all participants agree and acknowledge that all intellectual property rights thereto shall belong to the Organizer. The Organizer shall have the exclusive right to use, edit, modify and publish the entry submitted by all the participants, publish the names of the participants, in any way it deems fit for any advertising, trade, promotional purpose and for any other reason whatsoever, without any further notice to the participants and the participants shall not claim ownership or any payment or compensation on the materials. For the avoidance of doubt, the submissions will not be edited for judging purposes.
  2. The Organizer reserves the right to modify, suspend or cancel this Contest without prior notice in the event that it becomes not capable of running as planned, technically interfered or corrupted, including but not limited to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Organizer, despite the best efforts of the Organizer.
  3. The Organizer reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any participant that is found or suspected of tampering with the Contest download submission process, the operation of this Contest or to be in violation of the Conditions of Access of the INTI International Universities and Colleges Facebook page. The Organizer reserves the right to block the Facebook account of any person who it reasonably suspects has violated or infringed any of these general terms and conditions and the Organizer reserves the right to pursue legal action against any individual it believes has undertaken fraudulent activities or other activities harmful to this contest, the submission process and/or the INTI International Universities and Colleges Facebook page.

Other Terms & Conditions

  1. The Organizer’s decisions are final and no correspondence thereon will be entertained.
  2. The Organizer is not responsible for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction, unauthorized access to, or alteration of, user or member communications, or any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of email or players on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the internet and/or websites.
  3. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia and the Organizer and participants agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Malaysia in relation to any disputes arising therefrom.

Privacy Notice

  1. INTI Universal Holdings Sdn Bhd respects your privacy when you visit INTI International Universities and Colleges Facebook Page therefore our treatment of your personally identifiable information such as your name, gender, identity number, phone number, address or email address (“Personal Information”) that you may submit through this Site is in compliance with the Malaysia privacy laws (“Privacy Law”). In particular, we collect, use and store Personal Information in good faith and only for the purposes we set out in paragraph 3 below.
  2. By participating in the Contest, you consent for INTI Universal Holdings Sdn. Bhd. and any of its holding, subsidiary or related companies under INTI Universal Holdings Sdn. Bhd. and service providers, agents and contractors who provide administrative and business support to us and act on our behalf (“Authorised Third Parties”) (collectively “Organizer”, “us”, “we” or “our”) to process your personal information provided in the entry form for purposes of the Contest. This includes disclosing your name to the general public when you become a winner in a contest or participate in our events by publishing your name, photographs and other personal information without compensation for advertising and publicity purposes.
  3. Your Personal Information will never be sold and we will not, without your express consent, provide your Personal Information to any unrelated third party unless required by law or legal process. If you do not wish to give your consent, then do not continue to access this Site, please do not submit your Personal Information through any form and exit this Site immediately.
  4. Whilst INTI Universal Holdings Sdn. Bhd. has taken reasonable steps in relation to your Personal Information and will continue to follow the Privacy Law, we cannot guarantee that your Personal Information, submitted through the Site (Facebook) will be secure since the internet is not a secure environment and Facebook is prone to technical glitches.
