INTI signs MoU with Midea Scott & English Electronics Sdn Bhd

INTI International University & Colleges (INTI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Midea Scott & English Electronics Sdn Bhd, strengthening collaboration between education and industry.

The agreement covers areas such as professional talks, forums, seminars, mentorship, and on-campus recruitment. Midea senior staff may also take part in INTI’s Design Thinking Mentorship Programme, contribute as adjunct faculty, or serve as members of INTI’s Industry Advisory Board.

As part of the collaboration, INTI will extend tuition fee discounts to Midea employees and their family members who pursue studies at INTI. This applies not only to academic programmes such as Diploma, Degree, Master’s and PhD, but also to shorter learning pathways including micro-credentials and professional courses. Midea will also provide platforms for INTI to conduct sharing sessions and learning demonstrations for its employees.

The MoU reflects INTI’s efforts to prepare students for the workplace while also supporting working professionals and their families in advancing their education, whether through academic programmes or flexible upskilling opportunities.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Dr. Chong Kok Wai, Chief Executive Officer of INTI International University & Colleges, said: “By working with Midea Scott & English Electronics, we are creating opportunities that benefit both students and working professionals.
