INTI International University will be hosting the 5th International Conference on Innovation and Technopreneurship (ICIT 2022) from 22 to 23 September. The event, to be carried out in hybrid mode, will be a beneficial platform to facilitate interaction and establish a network and partnership among researchers.In line with this year’s theme, ‘Embracing Transformation and Innovation Towards Sustainable Goals (SDG)’, delegates will use the platform to share advances in innovation while embracing transformation. Researchers, scientists and experts worldwide are set to gather at ICIT 2022 to share ideas and recent developments on innovation and technopreneurship that contribute to SDGs such as Good Health and Well-being (Goal 3) which aims to ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages, Clean Water and Sanitation (Goal 6) for the availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all, and Affordable and Clean Energy (Goal 7) which aims to ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all .
Other SDGs that will be discussed at the conference include Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure (Goal 9) to ensure resilient infrastructure, promote inclusive and sustainable industrialization, and foster innovation, Sustainable Cities and Communities (Goal 11) to make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient, and sustainable, as well as Responsible, Consumption and Production (Goal 12) to ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns worldwide.
The INTI International Conference on Innovation and Technopreneurship (ICIT 2022) will witness 20 researchers from around the world to support and promote Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) while embracing technology.
According to the conference chair, Associate Professor Ir. Dr. Malathy Batumalay, ICIT 2022 consists of 10 tracks that are aligned with the SDGs. On Day 1, speakers from countries like Saudi Arabia, Hong Kong, and India will speak on the topic of ‘Innovation Towards Sustainable Development Goals’ and how despite the impact the pandemic had on industries, they are slowly making their comeback to thrive again. Meanwhile, the topic of ‘Technopreneurship Towards Sustainable Development Goals’ will be discussed on Day 2, featuring speakers from Indonesia, Lithuania, and India who will talk about the importance of synchronizing education, economic, and personal growth to achieve SDGs to overcome the struggles following COVID-19.
Participants can look forward to being engaged in a high-powered academic programme with more than 20 panels, demonstrations, and poster presentations, while the best overall paper will stand a chance to win an award worth £100.
