INTI International University & Colleges (INTI) and Pangasinan State University (PSU) signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) to promote and strengthen academic partnership, cooperation, and collaboration to advance teaching, learning, employability, and research in both institutions.
INTI International University & Colleges Chief Executive Officer Chong Kok Wai, and PSU President Dr Dexter R. Buted signed the MoA virtually on 26 January 2022 in a ceremony attended by representatives management and academic of both universities.

The MoA will allow both parties to cooperate on activities that are mutually beneficial such as study abroad opportunities in Malaysia, academic progression, placement, and enrolment for various programmes at INTI, mobility student exchange programmes, faculty exchange programmes, academic funding and visiting scholar programmes, as well as curriculum mapping, design, and development.
According to Kok Wai, the signing ceremony was a part of INTI’s continuous initiative to develop partnerships with esteemed institutions of higher learning, including those in the Philippines.

“The documents we sign today do not merely indicate a commitment to academic exchange and cooperation between INTI and Pangasinan State University; it is also a collaboration between two universities of two different nations,” he added.
Kok Wai said there will be many exciting outcomes from various interesting projects that both parties will embark on involving curriculum, exchange programmes, academic research, and more.
Meanwhile, Dr Dexter R. Buted stated that PSU is committed and excited about the partnership with INTI and looks forward to a fruitful and long-lasting cooperation with INTI.
“PSU pledges to commit its expertise and resources to actively engage and carry out the university’s responsibilities in the partnership with INTI as articulated in the signed MoA,” he said.
