INTI and the PRactitioners Society Malaysia proudly hosted the launch of Young Practitioners Malaysia, an initiative designed to bridge the gap between academic studies and industry experience. Held at INTI’s Subang campus, the event also featured the programme Shaping the Future of Communications, reflecting INTI’s dedication to nurturing future leaders in public relations and communications.
Young Practitioners Malaysia connects university and college students pursuing careers in public relations, communications, and related disciplines with seasoned professionals, offering mentorship and hands-on learning opportunities. By fostering meaningful interactions between academia and industry, the initiative provides students with essential skills and practical knowledge to excel in their careers.
The event featured a vibrant discussion session with prominent figures, including Tunku Munawirah Putra (granddaughter of Tunku Abdul Rahman), Datin Paduka Tan Siok Choo (granddaughter of Tun Tan Cheng Lok), and Ms Deva Kunjari Sambanthan (daughter of Tun Sambanthan). Together, they reflected on Malaysia’s legacy of unity, harmony, and progress while encouraging the younger generation to uphold these values in their personal and professional lives.

Dr. Jane Lim, Chief Executive of INTI International College Subang, highlighted the value of such initiatives during her opening remarks. She stated, “At INTI, we recognise the importance of equipping students with theoretical knowledge and practical experience. Programmes like Young Practitioners Malaysia provide students with invaluable exposure to real-world practices while fostering connections with industry leaders who can guide them to success.”
In his address, Datuk Kamalanathan, Chairman of the PRactitioners Society Malaysia, inspired the audience with a forward-looking message. He remarked, “The future of our nation’s legacy lies in the hands of young practitioners. You have the power to shape narratives, build bridges, and champion unity. My hope is for you to uphold integrity, empathy, and inclusivity, contributing meaningfully to Malaysia’s growth and harmony.”
Through this collaboration, INTI and the PRactitioners Society Malaysia foster connections between students, academics, and industry professionals, bridging the gap between classroom learning and real-world application in public relations and communications. This initiative also complements INTI’s longstanding efforts, including the Industrial Advisory Board (IAB), internships, guest lectures, career fairs, and industry- focused workshops, to equip students with practical skills and professional insights.
