INTI International University is redefining student experience with a series of campus upgrades designed to refresh facilities and create a future-ready environment that supports innovation, wellness, and collaboration.
The upgraded pool area at the Student Centre now includes new sun loungers, enhanced shower facilities, and a refreshed aesthetic—inviting students and staff to incorporate wellness into their daily routines.

“We saw the need to refresh the swimming pool to ensure that our students have access to modern recreational facilities,” said Eu Weng Fong, Manager of General Affairs. “By upgrading the pool, we hope to create an inviting space that encourages a healthy and active lifestyle within our campus community.”
Well-being is only one part of the bigger picture. Across the university, new investments are reshaping the campus as a space where education, industry, and technology intersect. In mid-March, the university reopened Residential Block B—offering more comfortable accommodation to meet student needs.
The Bambu Lab X1-Carbon 3D printers at FabLab are equipped with AI-driven monitoring to prevent printing failures and dual-level bed levelling for improved print quality.
The Faculty of Engineering and Quantity Surveying (FEQS) further enhances its academic and technical facilities following the launch of three new Bachelor of Technology programmes in Intelligent Process and Product Design, Intelligent Manufacturing, and Digital Construction. The faculty is equipping its FabLab and BTEC Lab with next-generation technology to support these programmes. Additions include AI-enabled 3D printers, PLC training kits, and a robotic arm with a vision system—all aimed at preparing students for the demands of Industry 4.0.
Designed for industrial applications, the Creality CR-M4 3D printer at FabLab supports large-scale printing. Its expansive build volume enables students to produce sizable models in a single print, eliminating the need for batching on smaller machines.
“As the FabLab is a key attraction for inbound visits, we needed to upgrade our equipment to enhance our output,” said Dr. Chan Siew Chong, Dean of FEQS. “The new equipment will also support students in their curriculum while hopefully inspiring them in creative aspects.” He added that the upgraded BTEC Lab will soon become another highlight for campus visitors.

Meanwhile, INTI’s Corporate Office on Level 4 is undergoing its own transformation. The newly renovated space has just reopened this month, including a modernised lobby, refreshed meeting rooms, and a fully redesigned conference room and board room. These updates create a more professional and collaborative setting for faculty, staff, and industry partners.
The redesigned Conference Room is set to support seamless collaboration among faculty, staff, and industry partners, reinforcing INTI International University’s position as a centre for academic and professional engagement.
“The Conference Room plays a role in facilitating collaborations and discussions with industry partners and the university,” said Weng Fong. “With this, we have created a more conducive common space that aligns with the university’s commitment to excellence.”
Other ongoing improvements, including wall repainting, better ventilation, and wiring enhancements, are being carried out across campus to accommodate increasing student numbers and enhance daily operations.
These upgrades reflect more than just facility maintenance. They are part of INTI’s long-term strategy to create a dynamic, forward-thinking environment where students, educators, and partners can thrive.
