Ace Your Asasi 2.0
Ace Your Asasi 2.0 is a knowledge-sharing and academic empowerment programme designed to support first-year foundation students in developing effective learning strategies and critical thinking skills. The session brought together over 210 TESL foundation students in a large-scale, interactive engagement.
The programme aimed to strengthen students’ ability to learn actively and independently. Through a variety of hands-on activities such as memory challenges, role-play tasks, quick writing exercises, and group problem-solving, students were introduced to practical techniques to improve understanding, retention, and academic performance.
A key highlight of the session was the introduction of AI-assisted and technology-enhanced learning tools. Students explored how digital platforms, including chatbots and interactive learning applications, can support their study routines and enhance their digital literacy.
The session also focused on developing critical thinking skills, encouraging students to evaluate information, question assumptions, and build logical reasoning. These skills are essential for academic writing, assessments, and navigating information in the digital environment.
Overall, the programme created an engaging and supportive learning experience, equipping students with practical strategies, boosting their confidence, and strengthening their readiness for university life.
