Faculty of Health and Life Sciences at INTI International University Expands Global Collaboration Through Academic Exchange Program in China

The Faculty of Health Sciences INTI International University conducted an academic exchange program to Changsha Social Work College, China from 22 April to 30 April 2023. Four physiotherapy lecturers from the faculty visited the College, as part of this initiative to share their teaching expertise with the faculty and students of the College and to also learn and share the perspectives and practices of academicians and students from the College.

Several activities had been arranged during the visit which included a series of guest lectures, which were attended by students and Faculty members of the College.

Further there were meetings with academicians from the rehabilitation department at the College where Faculty members had the opportunity to discuss common research interests and latest trends in rehabilitation practices. Invaluable feedback and suggestions were shared between the faculty members and the visiting lecturers.  Visiting lecturers were given a tour of the campus and facilities at the College.

The visit served as a rewarding and invaluable experience for both the visiting lecturers and the host institution and served to further strengthen collaboration between the institutions. Such visits are essential in promoting intellectual discourse and in promoting cross cultural understanding between the institutions and to further global collaboration in higher education. This initial visit will help to pave the way for further initiatives in the future between the institutions.
