Tampin Health Carnival Supports Community Well-Being

The Tampin Chinese Methodist Church organised its 10th Annual Health Carnival at Mydin Mall Pulau Sebang on 20 July 2025, as part of its ongoing community outreach efforts. The event, held from 9.00 am to 2.00 pm, attracted members of the public for a range of health-focused activities.

The carnival featured a blood donation drive, health screenings, blood tests, a specialist health talk, as well as free eye screening and physiotherapy services. These initiatives aimed to promote health awareness and encourage early detection of potential health issues.

A dedicated physiotherapy assessment counter was also set up to evaluate participants’ physical health, including muscle strength, balance, and endurance. Trained physiotherapists conducted individual assessments using simple screening methods to identify possible concerns.

Based on the results, participants received personalised advice and guidance to support their overall well-being. The event provided a valuable opportunity for the community to access basic healthcare services while promoting a healthier lifestyle.
