INTI International University’s Faculty of Engineering and Quantity Surveying recently collaborated with the Asian Business Aviation Association (AsBAA) to organize a groundbreaking hybrid webinar titled ‘Women in Leadership: Shattering Glass Ceilings and Paving the Way for Future Generations: 3 Workable Solutions and Short-Term and Long-Term Action Plan’.

Esteemed experts from the aviation sector graced the event, delivering compelling presentations that left a lasting impact on attendees. Among the distinguished speakers were Ms. Aida Ismail, Regional Director at HADID International Services, Malaysia; Mr. Ahmad Faris Salwan, Business Development Manager at ASTONJET, Malaysia; Ms. Rishika Kasliwal, Engineering Consultant at McLarens Aviation, United Arab Emirates; and Mr. Mark Kammer, Operations Director at Dynamic Advance Training, United Arab Emirates. Their insights not only underscored the importance of women’s empowerment and gender equality but also illuminated potential career pathways within the aviation industry, igniting a spark of inspiration among participants.

The success of the webinar was evident through the active participation of over 100 lecturers and students from esteemed institutions such as INTI International University, Universiti Pertahanan Nasional Malaysia (UPNM), Universiti Kuala Lumpur Malaysian Institute of Aviation Technology (UniKL MIAT), and Politeknik Banting. Their enthusiastic engagement fostered a vibrant atmosphere conducive to meaningful dialogue and networking.
