INTI International University’s Faculty of Health and Life Sciences (FHLS) joined forces with HAPPY HEALTH康乐® for a notable gardening event aimed at nurturing environmental consciousness among children. Titled “I am Fung Tastic Project,” the event unfolded on March 12th at Q-dees Eco Majestic, Semenyih.
The primary objective of the collaborative effort was to educate young participants on the pivotal role fungi play in our ecosystem while emphasizing their significance in people’s lives. Through engaging activities, children were guided to differentiate between beneficial and harmful fungal species, with a specific focus on the cultivation process of oyster mushrooms.
The initiative not only facilitated joyful interaction but also provided valuable learning opportunities for the participants. By immersing themselves in practical gardening experiences, children gained insights into sustainable practices and the importance of environmental protection.
The successful execution of this joint initiative underscores the significance of collaborative efforts in promoting environmental awareness and instilling sustainable practices among future generations.
