YB Tuan Chang Lih Kang, Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation inaugurated the International Invention, Innovation and Technology Exhibition (ITEX) 2023 which takes place at KLCC. (ITEX) 2023 has taken proactive steps toward addressing the climate crisis by bringing together inventive minds from around the world to create sustainable climate technology solutions.
He was also proud of the role played by ITEX in advancing invention and innovation in this country and encouraging the growth of local creators, in line with one of the core Malaysia MADANI, which is ‘Creativity’. The exhibition went hand in hand with the Government’s desire to spearhead future-oriented policies designed to stimulate local creativity and expertise, as well as empower the people to develop solutions towards a peaceful and prosperous Malaysia.
ITEX 2023 received over 700 entries with more than focusing on climate technology solutions. Local institutions and individuals make up nearly 60% of the participants. This year’s exhibition saw 19 countries and regions participate.
The ITEX Exhibition not only celebrated the spirit of innovation but also nurtured a culture of creativity and problem-solving. It served as a testament to the potential of the younger generation in shaping a better future through their ideas and inventions.
