
INTI International University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Sri Sathya Sai School, Laos, strengthening cross-border collaboration in education, climate action, and social development.
The agreement was signed by Professor Joseph Lee, Vice Chancellor of INTI International University, and Ms. Phouthasone Inthamone, Director of Sri Sathya Sai School Laos, at a ceremony graced by the His Excellency Ambassador Edi Irwan bin Mahmud, Ambassador of Malaysia to the Lao People’s Democratic Republic and alongside Mr Soulideth Mankhongsinh, the District Chief of Education.
The partnership reflects a shared commitment to ESG principles and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with plans for joint projects, training programs, and sustainability initiatives. The ceremony also featured cultural performances and a tour of the school.
Moving forward, the collaboration will expand through the EcoRise Project – Stage 2 Training and Engagement, bringing together 100 participants in a hands-on sustainability workshop. This marks a new chapter in advancing education and social impact across Laos and Malaysia.
