An interactive programming session was conducted to introduce students to basic coding concepts using the Alice programming language. The three-hour session combined hands-on learning with practical activities to create an engaging learning experience.
The programme included one hour of guided programming and preparation, followed by a mini programming competition based on given tasks. This structure allowed students to apply what they had learned in a collaborative and competitive setting.
Through the session, students gained early exposure to programming and its real-world applications, helping to spark interest in computer science and technology. The activities also encouraged the development of critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
In addition, group-based tasks and the competition helped students strengthen their teamwork and communication abilities. Overall, the session provided a strong foundation in programming while promoting essential skills for future learning.
