Recycling Collection Campaign

The Faculty of Health and Life Sciences (FHLS) at INTI International University organised Environment Protection Day from 10 to 14 March 2025 to raise environmental awareness and encourage sustainable practices among staff and students.

As part of the initiative, FHLS conducted a recycling campaign where recyclable materials were collected from staff members and gathered at the faculty before being sent to an external recycling centre. The programme aimed to encourage responsible waste management and promote the importance of recycling within the university community.

Aligned with INTI’s sustainability commitment and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the event highlighted the importance of responsible consumption, waste reduction, and environmental conservation. Participants gained greater awareness of how small everyday actions can contribute to protecting the environment and supporting long-term sustainability efforts.

The initiative also provided students with the opportunity to actively participate in environmental stewardship through meaningful community involvement. Overall, the programme reflected a collective effort towards building a more environmentally conscious and sustainable campus culture.
