Sharing Smiles with Refugee Children
The Sharing Smiles event was organized by students from MPU3206 Community Service (470 students) and MPU2242 Co-Curriculum (50 students). The event aimed to spread happiness by providing basic daily necessities and creating a memorable experience for refugee children from various centers across Negeri Sembilan and Selangor.
The event took place at Tan Yew Sing Multi-Purpose Hall on 5 and 6 November 2025. During the event, Community Service students distributed essential goods to the children, while Co-Curriculum students organized interactive games and activities to create a fun and welcoming environment.
About 300 refugee children participated in the event. The activities allowed them to interact and socialize with INTI students as well as other children from different refugee centers.
The event provided the children with both material support and a joyful experience. It also helped build their confidence, encourage social interaction, and create a sense of belonging while promoting compassion and community engagement among the students involved.
