This year’s project, Sharing Smiles, was organised in collaboration with the ESG Center. The initiative aimed to share happiness by providing basic daily necessities and creating a memorable experience for refugee children from ElShaddai (UN Refugee Agency) through fun learning activities.
The children were invited to INTI Nilai, where they participated in engaging learning games and interactive activities. As part of the programme, essential daily goods were also distributed to support their needs while creating a meaningful and joyful experience for the children.
Benefits of the event:
1. Improved access to basic needs: This includes food, clothing, and educational support for underprivileged communities contributes directly to SDG 1: No Poverty and SDG 2: Zero Hunger, ensuring that vulnerable groups experience better living conditions and equal opportunities for growth.
2. Enhanced civic responsibility, empathy, and teamwork among students supports SDG 4: Quality Education and SDG 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions, by fostering the development of socially responsible graduates committed to creating inclusive and peaceful societies.
