INTIMA: The Voice of Students

INTIMA is the official Student Government of INTI International University. Inspired by the Latin word meaning innermost essence, INTIMA represents unity, shared purpose, and active student participation.

The objectives of INTIMA are as follows:

Advocate for student welfare, rights, and interests.

Serve as a bridge between students and university management.

Encourage interaction and collaboration among students from all programmes.

Support student-led activities that enrich campus life.

Coordinate affiliate activities and prevent overlapping interests

Promote holistic education, environmental awareness, and social responsibility.

INTIMA Executive Committee (EXCO) Details

The Executive Committee is formed through elections and consists of student leaders responsible for overseeing student activities and welfare. The selection process includes:

  1. Application & Interview: Candidates submit forms and resumes, followed by interviews by the Independent Election Committee (IEC).
  2. Election: Students vote for the top four positions:
    • President
    • Vice President of Administration and Services
    • Vice President of Activities
    • Vice President of Academic Affairs
  3. Internal Nomination: Remaining committee roles are filled through an internal process.

The EXCO organises the Student Forum each semester—a platform for students to voice concerns and suggestions directly to university management. The Service Cell (a sub-unit of INTIMA) also conducts surveys to support proposals with data.

  • Service Cell: Assists with INTIMA events and coordinates Student Forums.
  • Academic Council: Consists of elected programme representatives, recommended by faculty, to support academic enrichment and ensure holistic student development.

Students Clubs and Societies

With over 50 officially registered clubs and societies under INTIMA, students have ample opportunity to engage, lead, and grow. Whether your interest lies in entrepreneurship, performing arts, sports, or social impact—there’s something for everyone. If you identify a gap, you are welcome to propose and establish your own student group.
