Education of Sustainability


We aim to provide students opportunities to develop critical-thinking and sense-making skills for understanding sustainability issues, alongside discipline-specific and interdisciplinary skills to learn the core principles and practices of sustainability through specialized programs

INTI International University actively engages in global networks that promote sustainability and the exchange of best practices. These partnerships enhance the university’s impact and connect its community to global efforts in environmental stewardship, social innovation, and sustainable development.

International Alliances:

INTI collaborates with YSBC to address critical global challenges, particularly poverty and climate change. YSBC promotes social business models that use entrepreneurial approaches to solve complex societal issues. Through this partnership, INTI fosters mutual learning between social enterprises and global corporations, creating meaningful change through innovative, purpose-driven business strategies.

The ENL and IEP Departments at INTI International University’s Faculty of Education and Liberal Arts (FELA) successfully organised the WWF Language Enhancement Day (LED) 2024, in collaboration with WWF Malaysia. The event, themed “Protect the Forest, Save the Seas, & Reduce Plastic Pollution,” engaged 195 Kajang High School students and over 100 INTI students with workshops on English writing, critical listening, and environmental awareness, culminating in a prize ceremony with over RM3,000 in AEON vouchers.

INTI International University is now ranked among the World’s Most Sustainable Universities in 2024 by UI GreenMetric World University Rankings. UI GreenMetric has commended INTI for its visionary strategies that have transformed its campuses into vibrant hubs of sustainability, showcasing the university’s commitment to environmental stewardship and innovation.

Green Gown Awards International

INTI International University is a finalist in the 2024 International Green Gown Awards, nominated in “Creating Impact and Diversity” and “Equity & Inclusion in Sustainability” categories. This recognition celebrates the hard work of our entire community, especially the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences and Faculty of Education and Liberal Arts.
