This Campaign is organized by INTI International University & Colleges (“INTI”). INTI is also the administrator for the Campaign, and is not administered or sponsored by SPE Networks – Asia Pte. Ltd. (“SPENA”) or any of its affiliated companies. By participating in the Campaign, the person doing so shall be taken to have fully and unconditionally agreed to be bound by the terms and conditions stated hereinafter:

Eligibility
  • The Campaign is open to all INTI students.
  • The Participant must be residing in Malaysia with a valid National Registration Identification Card (“NRIC”) number (12-digit) or Passport number at the time of participation of the Contest. INTI reserves the absolute right to vary or amend the aforesaid eligibility criteria of participant for the Contest if it shall deem necessary.
  • The following group of persons shall not be eligible for the Campaign:
    • Employees of INTI and SPENA (including each of their affiliated and related companies) and their immediate family members (children, parents, brothers and sisters, including spouses); and/or
    • Representatives, employees, servants and/or agents of advertising and/or promotion service providers of INTI (including its affiliated and related companies), and their immediate family members (children, parents, brothers and sisters, including spouses). Timeline
  • All entries for the Campaign must be submitted by 15 February 2016. INTI reserves the absolute right to vary or amend the duration of the Campaign Period if it shall deem necessary.
  • The top 5 finalists for both contests will be notified latest by end of February 2016 and they are required to showcase their work during the 2016 ANIMAX Carnival for final judging.
  • The official announcement of winners and prize giving ceremony will be held during the 2016 ANIMAX Carnival.

Submission of Entries
  • Participant can submit multiple entries.
  • Incorrect or uncompleted entries will be disqualified.
  • Entries submitted after the Campaign Period will be disqualified.
  • Entries submitted must be participants’ own work and not be copyrighted by any other party or infringe on any law.
  • Entries deemed offensive, inappropriate, and irrelevant, or have any reference or association to sensitive matters according to any law will be disqualified from this Campaign.
  • By participating in the Campaign, participants are deemed to have agreed that the submitted information and entries can be used as part of INTI’s promotional activity and material as INTI may require.

Judging of Entries
  • The panel of judges for the Campaign will be comprised of members of the relevant departments of INTI.
  • The judges’ decision in relation to all aspects of the Campaign is final and binding.
  • Each participant shall be entitled to win only one (1) prize for the Campaign.

Announcement of Results & Delivery of Prizes
  • The top 5 finalists for both contests will be contacted by the representative of INTI via e-mail, mobile number or other reachable mediums if needed to verify the details and inform the results.
  • If the selected participant fails to verify the details entered via the contest form and not able to proceed to the finals, the participant will be automatically disqualified and INTI will select another participant to become the finalist.
  • Prizes are not exchangeable for cash or items in kind, and are not transferrable. INTI reserves the right to change the prize(s) at its discretion to another prize(s) or a cash prize of similar or lesser value without any prior notice. The prizes are subject to any other terms and conditions as may be imposed by INTI from time to time.

Liability and Responsibility
  • INTI , SPENA and each of their divisions, affiliates, subsidiaries, directors, officers, employees and agents, including without limitation, Sony Corporation, Sony Corporation of America, Sony Pictures Entertainment Inc., CPT Holdings, Inc. and their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, employees, agencies and branches, and all other associated with this Campaign (collectively, the “Indemnified Parties”) shall not be liable for any defects (physical or operational) to the prizes nor to the merchantable quality of the same. The Indemnified Parties give no representation or warranty with respect to the condition of the prizes, which shall be given on “as is basis”. The Indemnified Parties shall further hold no responsibility to replace any prize that is lost, stolen or defective (whether due to physical or operational defects, under warranty or otherwise). Participants are to deal directly with the manufacturer of the prizes for any matters/issues concerning any applicable warranty of the prizes.
  • Unless expressly specified otherwise by INTI, the prizes will be provided as a “stand-alone” product and shall not include any miscellaneous accessories or services made available in the market for such prizes regardless of any of the aforesaid accessories are displayed in any promotional materials of the Contest which shall include but not limited to cards, posters or leaflets the illustration of which is meant for illustrative purposes only. All charges, costs and expenses (which shall include but not limited to postal charges), which may be incurred in connection to the delivery of the prizes shall be solely borne by the recipients.
  • The participants shall not be entitled to claim for any compensation from The Indemnified Parties for any loss and damage suffered or incurred by the participants due to any amendments, alterations or modifications of the Terms and Conditions and cancellation, termination or suspension of the Contest. The Indemnified Parties shall not be liable for any representations, injuries, loss or damages incurred directly or indirectly by the Participants due to the former’s participation in the Contest and/or action or omission of The Indemnified Parties.
  • Each Participant shall fully indemnify and hold harmless the Indemnified Parties from any and all claims, damages, losses, demands, causes of action, proceedings, expenses, and/or liabilities resulting or arising from or connected with, or claimed to have arisen, resulted from or be connected with: (i) the Participant’s submission, participation, attempt to participate, or inability to participate, in the contest; (ii) submission and/or use by the Indemnified Parties of any submission (and/or any parts thereof); (iii) the Participant’s failure to comply with any one or more of these Terms and Conditions or any applicable laws, rules or regulations; (iv) the unauthorized use by the Participant of, as applicable, the name, likeness, voice, work product, brand, trademark, logo of any person or entity; (v) the breach or alleged breach of any warranty, representation (including, without limitation any eligibility-related representation) or covenant made by the Participant in connection with the contest; (vi) acceptance and/or use of any prize, if any; (vii) any right or benefit granted by the Participant to the Indemnified Parties in connection with the contest; and/or (viii) the Participant’s negligence, willful misconduct, violation of any applicable laws, rules or regulations or these contest rules, or his or her violation of any third party’s intellectual property, privacy, publicity or other right.
  • Participants release each of the Indemnified Parties from and against any and all liability with respect to or in any way arising from this contest and the awarding and use, misuse or possession of any prizes, including liability for personal injury, except where prohibited or limited by law.

Personal Data Protection
  • The contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with any other companies. All participants’ information will be submitted to INTI.
  • The information participants provide to INTI International University & Colleges (INTI) will be processed in accordance with the provisions of the Personal Data Protection Act (1998) and any other relevant legislation ("Act").
  • This data may be used to provide the participants with further information about relevant services. It may be held on a mailing list or database for this purpose, unless the participants object (by notifying INTI in writing); this data may also be used by INTI for publicity, promotional and marketing purpose and it may also be passed on to a third party (a ‘data processor’) with whom INTI has formally contracted to process the participants’ data for this purpose, subject to the safeguards concerning privacy and security of data set out in the Act.
  • INTI will take the necessary steps to protect the confidentiality of the personal data shared in accordance with the applicable laws. The personal data you have provided in this form will be used by or on behalf of INTI to send you further details, including its events, academic programmes and marketing information.
  • Your personal data may be additionally shared from time to time with INTI’s appointed third party agents.

General Terms and Conditions
  • The laws of Malaysia shall govern the campaign. The campaign is void where prohibited or restricted by any local, national, state, or any governmental laws. The campaign is also subject to these Terms and Conditions.
  • INTI may in its discretion refuse to award any prize to any participants who fail to comply with these Terms and Conditions. All relevant instructions on the website (if any) form part of these Terms and Conditions.
  • INTI reserves the right to request winner(s) to provide proof of identity, proof of residency, proof of age in order to claim a prize. Proof of identification, residency, age and entry considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of INTI. In the event that a winner cannot provide suitable proof, the winner will forfeit the prize in whole and no substitute will be offered.
  • INTI's decision on any and/or all matters relating to the Contest including the selection of the names of the winners, the terms and conditions herein or any amendments to the same shall be final, binding and conclusive and no correspondence will be entertained.
  • INTI reserves the exclusive right to amend, alter or modify the Terms and Conditions of the contest wholly or in part at any time it deems necessary and reserves the right to terminate or cancel the Contest at its absolute discretion.
