Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Management – by Research
The programme enables students to undertake / conduct specialised, apllied & in-depth research works in business, management, marketing, human resource, accounting, finance, entrepreneursip, and other releveant areas and emerging disciplines which can contribute to the body of knowledge & the enhancement of business and management science & practices as approved by the faculty. It will also help to promote activities in research & development in the areas of ICT & aid the creation of new knowledge to boost the national knowledge capital.

Prepare students for academic careers in colleges, universities & high-levelnpositions in government, public and private sectors; in addition to consultancy work that involve business research & management advisory area that will build the country intellectual capital & wealth, and contribute to the growth of the national & global economy
Student may contribute to the government industry national agenda to develop and build a pool of distinguished researchers focused on national & international research
PhD symposium (twice a year)
PhD candidate is expected to produce a thesis that embodying original research with significant findings. The thesis is expected to be a mature and competent piece of writing with no lesser than 60,000 words but not more than 100,000 words.

A recognised Masters degree in the relevant field; AND
Meet any of these English Requirements:
Masters degree conducted in English**; OR
Credit 6 in MCE / SPM / GCE level; OR
MUET Band 5 or 6 / TOEFL score of 550 / IELTS score of 6.0; OR
Equivalent score from any of the above obtained at undergraduate level at a recognised university**
**A copy of document from the university is required during submission as a proof of English proficiency
Any other qualification with relevant working experience will be considered prior to approval by the Senate
