The inbound visiting scholar programmes at INTI International University (INTI IU) introduced by the University in 2022 aims to provide a framework for establishing collaborations with higher learning institutions to enable researchers and students to enhance research activities expand their research network, publications and produce quality research outputs which is a priority for INTI IU. The program runs for a period of one week and is hosted by the University @ INTI International University, Malaysia. Assistance is provided to visiting scholars with their flight and accommodation arrangements.
INTI IU successfully hosted its first visiting scholar program welcoming scholars from India, Indonesia, Maldives, Pakistan, and Vietnam from 20th Sept to 26th September 2022. During their visit, the scholars had the opportunity to present their research at the International Conference on Information Technology , conduct guest lectures for students and/or faculty members, as well as share their research and expertise with faculty members. Visiting scholars may also chose to involve themselves in university consultancy work, conduct online symposiums and to share cultural experiences including learning to play the Gamelan, traditional Malay instruments and visiting local tourist sites and partaking in Malaysian culture
The program is to designed to garner more academicians and researchers from various backgrounds to come together to share and interact with fellow academicians and contribute to the advancement of educational research and future collaborations. INTI IU is hosting its second international conference for 2022 , THE ASEAN SOCIAL BUSINESS CONFERENCE on the 3 & 4 of November.
