Salmah, <br \/>Principal of KAMI Playgroup. Other collaborators included Dr. Ng Khar <br \/>Thoe from INTI University and Dr. Nurul Nadiah Abdul Razak from <br \/>Universiti Malaya. Music listening activities has been proven to be <br \/>beneficial for autistic children, and the activities of the day helped the <br \/>autistic children to improve their spelling and mathematical abilities. They <br \/>listened to various music with different melodies and rhythms, as well as <br \/>utilized musical mnemonics to help them with their spelling and <br \/>mathematical abilities. In the end, they reported a higher level of cognitive <br \/>abilities in these areas as the program had assisted them to learn with a <br \/>fun way through music activities.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-594f5dc elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"594f5dc\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>Benefit to the community:<\/strong><\/p><p>1. The children participated in musical listening to diverse stimuli of <br \/>rhythm and melodies which enabled them to focus better in <br \/>learning basic mathematical skills.<br \/>2. The autistic children and parents have more awareness of the <br \/>impact of music and art on learning skills, which can be <br \/>empowering and useful for their educational journey.<br \/>3. Autistic children are introduced to the concept of musical <br \/>mnemonics, which have been proven to be highly effective in <br \/>increasing the cognitive abilities of autistic children in learning <br \/>spelling and mathematics<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3940d987 e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\"
