The kids were three to six years old, of different ethnicity and background. The ice-breaking session, which was conducted by the 7 students from the CSFI program (Biology II), received warm participation from the children and the activity went well with the children getting their hands into germinating the oyster mushrooms. The activity was also supported by one of the co-organizers, Happy Health (M) Sdn Bhd, of which they supplied the mushroom spores, petrol subsidy, and sponsored for the closing ceremony of the event and introduced the fungal essence herbal product to the parents. Based on the verbal communication, the children and their parents are looking forward to future activities that can raise the interest of the children in mushroom cultivation. The principal of the kindergarten is also keen to pursue future collaboration with INTI International University that are educative towards the children., press enter to edit.\"><div class=\"od-FieldRenderer-text textOverlay_821ecd3c\">Taiwan Buddhist Tzu-Chi Foundation Malaysia from KL Selangor branch with their Tzu-Chi International Medical Association (TIMA) organised Tzu-Chi Northern Region Health Screen event at Kuala Lumpur Jing Si Hall on 30th June 2024 Sunday. The purpose of the event is providing the free health screening and TCM treatment at the same time. They are inviting our lecturer Mr. Chong Teek Foh to join and collaborate with them in the CSR event as one of the TCM practitioners to provide consultation and acupuncture, overall total 75 people received free consultation and 23 people received free acupuncture during the event. Providing free consultation and acupuncture treatment is aimed at helping more people access the benefits of traditional Chinese medicine, especially those who may not be able to afford conventional medical costs. Acupuncture is used to alleviate various types of pain, regulate bodily functions, and promote overall health. By offering free acupuncture treatment, more individuals can benefit, improving their quality of life and making a positive contribution to community health. Also to promote this as a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program for our university. At the same time to enhance the branding of university to public.<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><\/div><\/div><p><strong>Benefits to the community\u00a0 :<\/strong><\/p><div class=\"ReactFieldEditor\" data-automationtype=\"clientFormField\"><div class=\"ReactFieldEditor-core--display ReactFieldEditor-TextMultiLine\" tabindex=\"0\" role=\"textbox\" aria-readonly=\"true\" aria-label=\"Benefit to the community Required Field, To provide help to an organization of our choice in terms of donation in the form of essential goods and living necessities using the funds we have raised, as a way of giving back to the community around us in Nilai. It highlights the importance of holistic health practices and encourages individuals to take an active role in their well-being.
