Impact of the event

A total of 25 Bachelor in Information Technology (BIT) students attended the section. There
are from semester 7 students who are taking Capstone 1 and semester 6 students who are going
to enroll in Capstone 1 in the coming semester. The section starts at 8am and takes 1 hr 30
minutes. The objectives are to provide an overview of how undergraduate research (UR) is
related to their Capstones; what is UR dos and don’ts; what are potential field; steps to take to
become a strong candidate for UR; and the importance to a students’ success. The outcome of
section is where the students able to understand what is UR Project is by relating with
Capstones. Also, able to understand that their project should be related to real world problems.
