Clinton Global Initiative
The Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) was created to unite and motivate world leaders into creating and executing solutions to world problems. To encourage the world's youths to contribute their own efforts to these global issues and challenges, the Clinton Global Initiative University (CGI U) was then created.

The CGI U encourages students to create and execute their own Commitments to Action plans, focusing on a specific challenge in their communities. Selected students will then be invited to attend the Clinton Global Initiative University, to meet, discuss and collaborate with their peers to solve challenges in 5 major areas: Education, Environment and Climate Change, Peace and Human Rights, Poverty Alleviation and Public Health. The CGI U is proof that young people have the power to make a significant impact by confronting some of the world's most urgent challenges.

The CGI and CGI U are one of many international opportunities available to students of INTI, who not only benefit from the institution's over 25 years of experience, but also from the global resources that Laureate International Universities provides.
At the Clinton Global Initiative University (CGI U) meeting in Washington, DC, President Clinton met student attendees from Laureate International Universities and discussed how they would turn ideas into action through their CGI U commitments.
