Overview
 

The University of Hertfordshire degree in Communication offers students an opportunity to explore possibilities in Film, Journalism, Media Cultures and New Media Publishing. Students will be able to critically examine films, learn to write like a journalist, study popular media and use software packages to design layouts for magazines and websites and be prepared to make full use of new media tools.

Entry Level Entry Requirements
Foundation Completion of Matriculation / Foundation / Pre-U Programme from recognised institution with minimum CGPA 2.00 & credit in English at SPM or its equivalent
Diploma Pass Diploma in any field from recognised institution with minimum CGPA 2.00 & credit in English at SPM level or its equivalent
Diploma in Media & Communication Pass Diploma in Media & Communication or its equivalent
STPM Pass STPM with 2 full passes or Grade C (GPA 2.00) in any two subjects & credit in English at SPM level or its equivalent
STAM Pass in STAM with a minimum grade of Jayyid and credit in English at SPM level or its equivalent
A Level 2 full passes & credit in English at O-Level or its equivalent
UEC 5Bs & pass in English subject
Australian Year 12 TER / UAI (ATAR) / ENTER 55, no subjects below 50 and credit in English at SPM or its equivalent
CPU Pass 6 subjects with average of 55 marks and credit in English at SPM or its equivalent

1) Credit transfers are given based on module to module mapping according to standards / guidelines provided by MoHE / MQA and in consultation with the Admission Tutor in UH.
STPM A minimum of two passes at minimum Grade C+ (GP 2.33)
A Level A minimum of 2 full passes totalling 80 UCAS points (200 points to 2016)
UEC 5Bs including English
SAM Pass 5 subjects with minimum aggregate TER 65%, a pass in English and Mathematics and no subject below 10/20
NSW (HSC) Minimum 10 units with ATAR 65, no subjects below 50
ADTP Pass ADTP with CGPA 2.0 (2 years)
