The Master of International Business (MIB) examines issues impacting primarily on the Asia – Pacific region. Business operations in this region are continually being transformed, providing many challenges for implementing international business strategies. The MIB program prepares students to succeed in managerial and professional positions in the global economy. UOW MIB graduates will understand complexities of global culture and recognise how they can impact on the success of their business.

  • The programme examines business issues impacting primarily on the Asia Pacific region and highlights the skills needed to develop sound, workable business strategies in order to effectively operate in the global business environment
  • UOW was the first in Australia to develop and offer this degree
  • This program has been designed for both business graduate and those with a degree from a recognised university in a non-business area of study who wish to complement their studies by undertaking a well structured program that provides them with essential business skills in order to pursue a career in international business
  • Prepares students to succeed in managerial and professional positions in the global economy
  • This is a 2-year part time programme. We also offer a full time programme where students are required to complete 8 subjects to graduate
