This degree covers the basic principles of business theory and practice. Students may complete the Bachelor of Commerce with a single major, a double major or a major + minor.

In order to successfully complete a Commerce degree in three years (Full-time), students need to complete 24 subjects (Excluding all Malaysian Compulsory subjects).

* You’ll receive an associate CPA member status with exemptions for 8 segments and papers. To obtain CPA status, you’ll need to complete 6 postgraduate segments and 3 years of supervised, relevant work experience. *

** You’ll receive exemptions for nine subjects at the Fundamental level, so you’ll need to complete another five subjects to reach the ACCA professional level.



Finance is about money and investments. Individuals, private companies and the public sector all share the common objective of profitable investments. Subjects available within the Finance major are:

This major gives individuals the awareness and understanding of business in other cultures and regions. It prepares individuals to respond to intricacies of international business within this rapidly growing environment. Students will gain an understanding of international trade theory and policy, strategic management, cultural diversity, communications and decision-making as they relate to contemporary international business issues;including financial management, employment relations, industry and trade in South-East Asia, and international marketing and management.
