Overview
Most people think Interior Design is just about home decoration. It's really about the art of finding creative design solutions for environments that support the health, safety, quality of life and well being of the occupants in it. It is a multi-disciplinary process that integrates art and technology to the built-environment. Our Diploma in Interior Design aims to provide you with a better understanding of a building's structure and the problem-solving skills needed to manipulate and shape interior space to impact the wellbeing of its occupant. You will also be exposed to topics and concepts such as space, texture, furnishings, colour, materials and every aspect of environmental design. This includes lighting, acoustics and human factors. The skills you will acquire include the understanding and application of design fundamentals, the planning of space, the development of designs & technical drawings as well as the knowledge of selecting and applying colour, light, materials, and electrical and mechanical elements, relevant laws, codes, standards and regulations. Design project work is the core of the programme that will enable skills to be practiced and integrates knowledge acquired in each of the specialized areas. Career Opportunities

Candidates will normally be expected to possess any one of the following qualifications listed below AND to meet the English language requirements.

| SPM | Pass Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or equivalent with at least 3 credits (including Mathematics) |
| UEC | Pass Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with at least 3 B’s (including Mathematics) |
| STPM | Pass Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia (STPM) with minimum 1C and minimum CGPA 2.00 |
| A Level | Pass ‘A’ Level with minimum 1 subject |
| Others | Recognized Art and Design Certificate with minimum CGPA 2.00 or equivalent qualification that recognized by Malaysia Government; OR Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) Level 3 and Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) with at least 1 credit. OR Depend on INTI Policy AND Pass Portfolio Review or Art Test conducted by the College for candidate who does not have a pass in Art Subject. |
| Candidates who do not have a credit in Art may be required to take Placement Test to determine their suitability for the course. Applicants are also required to demonstrate proficiency in English, a pass in SPM/O-Levels English or have studied subjects that require a satisfactory level in English. | |

Prepayment fee of RM16,000 is required before the first enrollment payable towards the first semester tuition fee, registration, deposit and general administration fees.
