Diploma in Fashion Design

PJ College of Art & Design: KPT/JPS(A8428)02/18

Overview

Fashion is an international industry with Malaysia already gaining a reputation in the global stage. Whilst there are a number of successful local brands in the world, the need for more talented designers with the ability to innovate and compete in the global market is still relatively high.

Our Diploma in Fashion Design programme will help you hone your natural talent to conceptualize and produce designs of international standards. You'll be taught pattern cutting, illustration, promotion sourcing and sampling, construction, textiles and industry awareness as well as the technical skills needed to work with different materials in the fashion industry.

We will also help mentor you to develop your own fashion design style to give you an edge in the competitive world of fashion. Our curriculum covers the theoretical knowledge you need to expand your mind as well as the practical skills to craft your own designs.

We encourage and provide many opportunities for students to participate in extra-curricular activities such as exhibitions, competitions, entrepreneurship, fieldworks and life projects.
